The Leadership Pasco program consists of the following elements:

Class of 2025

August 15, 2024

Orientation, Leadership In Action, and Team Building - Leadership Pasco Orientation provides an overview of the entire program. The class will get an overview of the expectations of all program days, and also discuss class officers, class roles & responsibilities, class project and class skit. The purpose of the Leadership in Action component is intended to continue to build leadership skills. Participants also reflect on implications of these skills for individual planning and community service. Team Building - The class will participate in team building activities, as they get to know one another.
8 to 11:30 a.m. (Orientation) (11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Leadership in Action and Team Building) (Location - Seven Springs Golf and Country Club, Trinity)


September 19, 2024
Bus Tour (Day 1) - The purpose of the tours are to familiarize the new class members with Pasco County and acquaint everyone with the existing benefits and challenges for Pasco County. 
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

September 20, 2024
Bus Tour (Day 2) - The purpose of the bus tours are to familiarize the new class members with Pasco County and acquaint everyone with the existing benefits and challenges for Pasco County.

October 17, 2024
Criminal Justice Day - The purpose of this program is to highlight the issues of law enforcement and the criminal justice system in Pasco County and provide a first-hand view of the challenges facing law enforcement officers today.
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

November 21, 2024
Infrastructure & Growth Day
 - The purpose of this program is to explore issues in infrastructure (waste management, water, gas, and electricity).
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

December 19, 2024
Business & Industry Day - The purpose of this program is to study issues of economic development and interact with representatives from various Florida organizations and businesses.
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

January 22, 2025
SIMSOC (Day 1) - The purpose of this two-day program is to simulate different aspects of society.
Exact times to be determined. (Location - Bethany Center, Lutz)

January 23, 2025
SIMSOC (Day 2)
- The purpose of this two-day program is to simulate different aspects of society.

February 20, 2025
(Class of 2024 -
 March 21, 2024)

Education Day - The purpose of this program is to highlight the goals and operations of the Pasco County Public School System from Pre-K to Grade 12 and experience the challenges facing school administrators today. In addition to the K-12 schools, participants will visit one of our higher education institutes located in Pasco County (PHSC, Rasmussen College and/or Saint Leo University).
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

March 20, 2025
(Class of 2024 - February 15, 2024)

Tourism Day - The class will meet in central Pasco and will travel on a bus to three facilities on East Pasco's Sports Coast, and will end the day with a boat tour and activities on West Pasco's Gulf. This class is NEW and Class of 2022 will be the first group to participate as a part of the official program!

April 17, 2025

Healthcare Day - The purpose of this program is to recognize the existing levels and identify the potential needs of health care services for Pasco County residents of all ages.

May 15, 2025

May 16, 2024)

Government Day
- The purpose of this program is to explore the government services available to Pasco County citizens and to engage in discussion with our county, state and national elected officials.
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

June 5, 2025
(Class of 2024 -
June 6, 2024)

Graduation
- An evening to celebrate the success of the class with family members, employers and alumni. Class will also present a skit highlighting what they learned throughout the year. That evening includes the presentation of the Judith Rochelle Award (for an Alumnus) and recognition of Leadership Pasco board & program leaders.
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (Spartan Manor, New Port Richey)

Class Alumni Event – Class is responsible for coordinating and hosting an Alumni event.
The Class Officers and Class members will elect or appoint an Alumni Chairperson to coordinate the event. The details of the Class Alumni event must be communicated to the Leadership Pasco Alumni Chairperson and the Newsletter Chairperson.
