“Inspiring and Motivating Employees” presented by Dan Biles, Pasco County Administrator, is the second program in Leadership Pasco’s Leadership Series and will be held via Zoom from 8 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21. “Dan has a wealth of leadership experience and his contributions to Pasco County and charismatic personality are well-known to our alumni and residents. We are thrilled to have secured him as a speaker,” said Manny Long, president, Leadership Pasco.

The Leadership Series program webinar is open to the public. Registration is available online at LeadershipPasco.com and costs are $20 for Leadership Pasco class members and alumni in good standing, $30 for general public, and $10 for students. Registration is limited to the first 300 people and pre-registration is required.

Dan Biles, Pasco County Administrator since 2017, brings a wealth of local government and military experience to Pasco County. He served as Deputy County Manager for Infrastructure in Jefferson County, Alabama, from 2014 to 2017 and worked for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, from 2010 to 2014.

Biles’ extensive military career includes a post with the 248th Civil Engineering Flight, ANG, in Camp Murray, Washington, where he was Commander from 2012 to 2015 and Vice Commander from 2008 to 2012. Following active duty, Biles spent the next 10 years working as a consulting civil engineer and land developer in the South Puget Sound Region of Washington State.

Biles has more than 30 years of leadership experience, guiding a wide spectrum of military, private business, and local government teams. At each step along the way, his teams were consistently recognized as the best in their respective organizations and regions – even winning national “best of” awards.

The goal of the Leadership Pasco Leadership Series is to provide engaging and informative programs for local leaders. Its Leadership Series began with Leading through a Crisis, presented by Mike Napier, Health Officer, Florida Department of Health-Pasco County, and will continue with a future program on Managing the Message later this fall. On-demand recordings of events and future dates are available on Leadership Pasco’s website at LeadershipPasco.com.
